Gajapuri, which means "Elephant's Empire" in Sanskrit, offers a luxurious tropical experience with its spa and outdoor spa bath. We loved it here! The place is serene and has a spa vibe. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, really far from most of the places we encountered in Thailand. They helped us with all the bookings and rentals we wanted. The facilities are great, especially the pool. Breakfast is also better than we expected and it slightly varies every day.

What a resort! Absolutely our best hotel on our holiday. The breakfast is available at any time from 7am - 4pm, and made to order. It was exceptional. The restaurant is next to the beach. You can even eat on the beach if you prefer. The rooms were excellent. The pool was large and is an infinity type with seamless views out to sea. There are 2 other pools directly accessible from the ground floor rooms. The loungers were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for the fabulous staff. We were lucky enough to be there when they did a fabulous 'Valentine's night dinner.

Plubpla Koh Mak Retreat er en luksuriøs tropisk oase med privat sandstrand, udendørs infinity-pool med havudsigt og afslappende thailandsk massage. This place was lovely. I really enjoyed myself. The bed was amazing comfortable and the food in the restaurant was tasty. Staff were very helpful, you can rent scooters, or the desk will happily call you a taxi. the beach was cool and maybe not a great swimming beach but with water shoes I had no problem. I liked the quiet location a bit away from the main drag. The poll was huge and there were plenty of loungers and towels. The board walk was fine, some folks commented on the condition in other posts. But they were actively replacing weak boards and installing new lighting when I was there. I was in a third-row unit and I felt like it offered great views. especially for the price!! It's Thai style for sure but I just loved it there. I would absolutely return.

Really comfy rooms, good location close to the beach, restaurants and amenities nearby and still far from party and loud noises! Staff were brilliant, kind and attentive. We are vegan and they accommodated breakfast options (vegetable milk, muesli and fruit, bread and jam).
