Gajapuri, which means "Elephant's Empire" in Sanskrit, offers a luxurious tropical experience with its spa and outdoor spa bath. Peaceful resort in a super location near restaurants,shops,atms at a walking distance. In front of the sea but for the beach you just have to walk 5 minutes (no issue for me at all) Everything was perfect. The pool is amazing and the resort is quit as well as the guests (not overcroweded as other resorts). Staff is amazing especially the girls at the breakfast (professional,smiling and always ready to satisfy all needs). Breakfast is very good (i really appreciate the home made olive bread as well as the honemade jams)and there are a waffle and eggs station with a cooker. Very beautiful sunsets I defenetely recommend this place :-)

The staff is really helpful and welcoming, and the natural surroundings are just stunning. The room was very beautiful and the whole place very tidy and well maintained.

Resort located along Klong Plu River at Klong Praow Beach in Ko Chang, this resort offers contemporary accommodation with views of the river, pool, garden or mountains. This resort is fantastic! Spacious rooms, great staff, 2 swimming pool and located along the riverside! Breakfast is very good and the local 'Trat' Thai food in the restaurant is delicious! Ask them specifically for the menu of the 'Trat-kitchen' because you don't wanna miss this!! The beach is a boat-ride away; you take the boat at the resort and this will take you along the river to the beach in a few minutes! Private Beach is spacious, with a nice bar and restaurant too! This is a Thai family owned business and that's very important to me! Big respect for the (female) owner and her daughter who are running this place! Hope to be back soon!

Offering a beachfront location and an outdoor pool, Awa Resort Koh Chang is located in Ko Chang. The property offers free WiFi access. Every detail was great, amazing hotel, amazing staff. Everything was taken care of and no task to small to help you. I want to say thank you to mimi at front desk for always being so helpful.

A 3-minute walk from Klong Koi Beach, Chaipura Kc Resort offers air-conditioned cabins with a private balcony overlooking the resort’s garden. We were at Chaipura for the second time. It's a very special place and we really love it. It's a good choice if you... - want to visit koh chang but don't like the party atmosphere that dominates a lot of the island. Klong kloi beach is so nice and relaxed, and chaipura is a bit removed from it on private property. - don't need lots of shops and activity around you, but want to be near a taxi stop so that you can visit other parts of the island. I can't recommend renting a moped on coaching unless you are very experienced, the roads are extremely treacherous. - want to be close to the beach, but prefer some space and privacy, and a quiet, restful atmosphere. The beautiful bungalows are well spaced, breakfast on the back terrace overlooks the lagoon and is a peaceful affair. It's not a good choice if.. - you are a big group or a family with loud children who need a lot of input. Again, it's a chill, peaceful place, in particular perfect for couples who want something that's rustic and affordable but a step up from the options around. - you need to be directly on the beach for some reason. Chaipura looks out over a small lagoon. - you need staff to be available 24/7 or any sort of all-inclusive program with lots of amenities and activities and support. The staff mainly leaves you alone. At the same time, when you need help you will get it and the housekeeping team does a fantastic job! - you are afraid of nature. The bungalows are not well-sealed, there are geckos everywhere and you very well might run into some monkeys. :)

This place was lovely. I really enjoyed myself. The bed was amazing comfortable and the food in the restaurant was tasty. Staff were very helpful, you can rent scooters, or the desk will happily call you a taxi. the beach was cool and maybe not a great swimming beach but with water shoes I had no problem. I liked the quiet location a bit away from the main drag. The poll was huge and there were plenty of loungers and towels. The board walk was fine, some folks commented on the condition in other posts. But they were actively replacing weak boards and installing new lighting when I was there. I was in a third-row unit and I felt like it offered great views. especially for the price!! It's Thai style for sure but I just loved it there. I would absolutely return.
