The location was perfect, central to lagoon, downtown core and strolls along beach. Very clean and modern quaint room. The view of lagoon and ocean was nice.

Very kind owner who contacted me personally by phone to clarify how to enter the building (as I was arriving on a holiday and he was not in). I haven't seen the full hostel due to this, but upstairs is very basic but clean and pleasant to stay for just a night or two if you want to explore the area. I had shared bathrooms and there was only a single toilet and shower, but as it is a small hotel, this shouldn't be an issue.

The facilities are great and the bunk beds really comfortable. The showers/toilets were always super clean. The bar and the beer pong competition were really cool and there's a nice café right downstairs if you're looking for breakfast/brunch.

Went the extra mile for Easter with easter eggs and hot cross buns. Loved how quirky the accom was and also that the staff had turned the air conditioning on so the room was nice and refreshing. Awesome that complimentary bug spray and an umbrella was provided too
