The new pool was so refreshing on a hot humid day. Staff was excellent. I received notification that items were left in the cupboard in the room and staff went out of their way to have them delivered to the cruise port for us. Excellent customer service.

From the moment you get there, Hadrian and Sharon are welcoming you with a rum punch, a smile on their faces and a feeling that makes you feel you just arrived home. The house is like a portal transporting you to an era of tranquility, with serene views where the monkeys visit often, the birds chirp peacefully and the trees are the whispering witness of times past. From the art on the wall, the amazing overall decor, to the spacious rooms so uniquely designed, there is no place like this one. The property is simply beautiful. Secluded and breathtaking. But more than that, the people there are the best! They make you feel part of all of that, will always ensure you are comfortable and well. You feel looked after! A feeling deserted by maybe places…I had the pleasure to also meet the owners and they are just as lovely. In the morning, we all had breakfast like a big family ( although we hadn’t met till then) and I got to enjoy one of the best dishes made by Vivian, the chef! I can only say this: don’t hesitate booking this venue. It is one of the most wonderful I have ever stayed at. The pictures ( even though beautiful) don’t do it justice! It’s even better in person! Thank you all, for the amazing time there!

Everything was well organized from the moment Ron picked me up at the airport until he took me back. Iris is an amazing woman who makes you feel right at home. My accommodation was very clean and comfortable with regular cleaning and linen changes. I can't say enough about the wonderful vacation I had. Located close to the Gap and beach, 3 minute walk. All you want close by.

Patricia's Retreat is in the perfect location: 7 minutes walk to all the shops, buses, businesses and places of interest in Bridgetown. 10 minutes walk to the Barbados harbour and about 35 minutes walk to the beaches at Carlisle Bay. It's hard to find any other hotel that's truly in the heart of the city. Patricia's is well suited to experienced travelers, backpackers, and those who may be conducting business or research in the capital of Barbados. Patricia was a kind and welcoming host; I would definitely consider staying again.
