The hotel is freshly renovated, it's nice and spacious. The rooms are clean, comfortable and bright. The pools aren't deep, and all people can enjoy them. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I can genuinely say that Gaby saved our summer holiday after a few days of bad experience in another hotel. The animation is fun and interactive for all ages. Our family was able to enjoy all the activities. Petya took great care of our son, Eray didn't let us gain weight with his gymnastics and water exercises and of course Eli who took care of the party side of our stay with the drinking games and the funny competitions. We appreciate the hard work of all staff members from the polite bellboy, the helpful receptionists, the energetic bartenders, and all the other nice young people that we met during our stay.

The stuff was very nice, especially the receptionist lady, Aneta, she was very proactive and helpful, always smiled. The apartment was very big, each of the rooms had an AC, the apartment was cleaned each day, sheets and towels changed every second day. The breakfast was delicious.

My stay felt like a family vacation. The property is kind of boutique compared to the huge hotels around. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the restaurant didn't disappoint. Breakfast was really good.

First thing first, You are greeted with prosecco at the reception, and gives you a nice vibe right from the start. Just like at a party 🎉.And a wonderful gesture from them, was the no extra charge upgraded room, from 3 beds room to a 2 bedroom apartment. Lovely thing to do. And because we arrived late, there were sandwiches (delicious ones) and fruits waiting in our apartment. Is it clean you ask? Yes! Very! Those ladies are cleaning all the time, everywhere. The apartment, lobby, hallways, terrace, pool area, all around. How about the food? Well.. plenty, more than plenty actually. And the variety is enormous, for all tastes form everywhere you are. All freshly made and sooooo gooood. Even pizza made right on the spot in front of you is one of the best I had in many vacations. The staff, all wonderful, smiling at you and care to help no matter the problem. The beach is at a 2-3 min walk, through a amusement park, where we did spent 2 evenings beeing so much fun, for me and my 7 yo son. Overall, I think this 4 stars hotel deserves a minimum 4.5 stars or better :D If we come back to Bulgaria, it's HVD Hotel again for sure!

Brand new rooms. Food is good, fresh with a lot of choices. The staff is helpful and they are putting a lot of effort to have everything in the place(cleaning tables, preparing food/drinks ...). The animation team is great(kids are very happy with the kids corner), well organized, each day they prepare almost a full day of different activities by the pool.

    Horrible, it is not a resort, it is a big dirty city, expensive and ugly ! There are much better places in the world where one could spend their money and time! Too bad for the ruined beautiful nature with overbuild areas without decent roads or parking spots. I will not recommend it to anyone unless if you want to see how far the corruption in Bulgaria had gone, loosing control over everything.

    You can enjoy here both in the mornings and at nights as you can enjoy the beach during the day and you can find a lot of entertainment facilities at night as there is an active nightlife here. However, you should not expect a lot from the sea, which is wavy and which does not have clear aqua-blue water.

    I had a relatively normal time there, but for the same money, I'd rather choose Greece or Turkey next time. It would be cheaper, with warmer water, cleaner beaches, and overall lower prices. McDonald's was insanely expensive — 2–3 times more than usual. Other places were cheaper but still not exactly cheap. Honestly, I don’t understand why the prices are so high, considering the infrastructure doesn’t look great. I also felt like most services were tailored mainly for russians — in most places, staff greeted me in Russian first (not even in Bulgarian), and sometimes they didn’t speak any English at all but russian. So, if you don’t want to be surrounded by russians, it’s better to choose a different destination.

    Has smartened up in recent years and offers something for everyone if you look around. Long stretch of beach is lovely. Service has improved though food quality apart from Hawaii Bar was hit and miss, as was the entertainment apart from the Harp Bar guitarists and the new Freddie Mercury tribute singer with accompanying guitarist at Jack's bar which was the best ever bar entertainment in Bulgaria. Still a decent place to holiday

    It is a great hub location with access to the beach (all ages), fun fair, family events etc but also the opportunity to access Old Nessebar. It was busy but not overcrowded. The water was cool, clear and clean with fish and crabs to see. The sand was very clean. Activities on the beach were well organised and reasonably priced. A full length walk is a great workout with stunning views of sunsets and the city. A great place for visitors of all ages with or without children.

    Beautiful outdoor area, with swimming pool, garden and bar. Great coffee and quite good selection of drinks and snacks in bar for low prices. Bar and reception opened 24/7. Clean rooms, friendly and helpful stuff, especially the owner. Big pluses are: mosquito nets on balcony door, soundproof windows, very strong water pressure in shower. Perfect location in center, but in quiet neighbourhood. We will definitely choose this hotel again for our vacation on Sunny Beach.

    Friendly family run business just outside the hustle and bustle of sunny beach but within easy walking distance to supermarkets, shops and bars. Villa Sol is an excellent accommodation with a lovely private pool area for guests. The restaurant in Villa Sol is amazing. We ate there two nights in a row and Drago, Nina and family delivered very high quality food at very low prices. Would strongly recommend staying here. Thanks for the memories!!

    This is by far the best adults only hotel in Sunny Beach. Hip, trendy, upbeat, with exquisite design and state of the art pools. The location is really great and within walking distance to the best upscale nearby beach bars in the area. Loved the activities and the kindness of all people working there.
