We loved the hotel. They were so nice to us. The day we arrive, We had a bad day, missed trains and the stuff took us from train-station. They were so kind. Hotel was clean and comfortable. I got flu and even for that they helped us ;) thank you for everything! Also Cant pass to tell that Breakfast was excellent. As price performance, we recommend Alpenrose Hotel to everyone it was 10/10 🥰🙏🏼

All was perfect! Super nice and comfy bedrooms with lovely staf and a great breakfast. Super environment-friendly culture as well! There's parking if you go by car and they give you a free transport pass to take the local trains aswell for free..

All in all, for the price and for the location, it is a really good option — owners/management have clearly taken successful steps to improve by addressing critiques that resulted in negative reviews. I took a chance because I saw that the most recent reviews were all positive. Room was in good shape, and was carpet-less (I had seen a few negative reviews specifically about that). Excellent location right next to the train station, without noise being an issue. WiFi was solid and dependable, plenty of outlets. Toiletries were the minimum (bars of soap at the sink), there wasn’t housekeeping after the first night, and the room, overall, is no frills. Given the affordability of this hotel, that didn’t matter. I was very happy with the affordable, quality stay I had.

This place felt like a home! All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, especially as I was on my own they made me feel extra looked after. The restaurant staff especially were extremely friendly and i felt like i knew them after only the two nights staying here. The room was the perfect size for what i needed. The old chalet felt very traditional and added to the charm of the place. The location was exactly what i was looking for- somewhere quiet and peaceful with beautiful scenery. It was easy to get anywhere i wanted as it was only a short walk to either a bus or the train station. The restaurant/bistro on site was so good i chose to eat there both nights instead of going into interlaken for dinner. My stay here has really made me want to return to the Jungfrau region and when i do, i will certainly be staying here again.

Calm and peaceful neighborhood in a superb location. Supermarket nearby. Lots of space in the apartment, very nice balcony. Super clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The facilities are new and in a great condition. Irma, the host is nice and welcoming. Simple communication through WhatsApp during your stay.

The room was very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. There was a table and chairs on the patio in front of the room where we had a filling breakfast each morning. The host was very thorough in acquainting us with the features of the room and providing us with guidance on the options for exploring the region. Our walks through the village to the train station each morning as we started that day’s adventures were pleasant as we marveled at the traditional Swiss homes, the lovely gardens, and the mountain peaks surrounding us. We were glad we had chosen to stay outside Interlaken - the atmosphere was quiet and friendly.

    Wilderswil was a pleasant surprise. a quiet residential community a few kilometers from Interlaken, the area is quiet and friendly. A short bus ride to the main train station and into the city of Interlaken provides access to the rest of the area. I look forward to returning in the winter to enjoy the surrounding snowfall (hopefully!).

    Beautiful quiet location, with regular train & bus services to take you to the bustle of resorts & alpine villages. Lovely to retire back to in the evening after a busy day. 2 supermarkets & handful of restaurants. Eagles overhead!

    Wilderswil is beautiful and peaceful !

    Wilderswil is beautiful and peaceful ! We stayed half board which was perfect for us but for people who needed an evening meal very few places to eat apart from hotels. Excellent location for Jungfrau region !!!!

    Beautiful, quiet place.

    Beautiful, quiet place. Even late at night, I knew I was in a good place. Short train ride to all the great spots in the area, and Uber/Taxis are also easy to find. Our hotel was reasonably priced!

    Wilderswil is a beautiful place very near interlaken. It is a very beautiful place and is very well connected by train. We had our lunch at Restaurant Christina just opposite the train station.Lovely food and the staff very polite. Made us feel comfortable. Very good vibe.

    The location of this accomodation is excellent. One can easily reach either Interlaken or other alpine villages or trails by bus or train. There's just a few tourists in Wilderswil and neighbourhood is really calm. The view of the mountains was spectacular from our window and the rose garden (and the jacuzzi:)). Staff was amazing, especially Melinda and Zsófia. They were not only quite informative about activities and sights in the region, but really helpful and considerate with our sudden health issue.

    The setting is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature and the view is stunning. Great base for Jungfrau region and nicer than staying in interlaken (we had hire car). Lovely view from big balcony and nice pool. Clean. Breakfast was decent enough. Hotels and restaurants in town/village were nice to walk down to for a drink.

    Location was great. Two minutes walk from the train station to Interlaken . In addition, the hotel gives free tickets for public transportation to Interlaken back and forth. Breakfast was good and so was dinner .
