Truly wonderful and friendly staff from the owner and all other staff members. Made a great hotel stay even greater . Room was very nice - very clean and bright . There is no
A/C but rooms all have fans if needed . Bathroom is clean and bright and as an extra dividend has a bathtub as well as a shower . Immediately off the bike trail along the Main River . Great secure indoor bicycle storage . Very short walk to the city center
On site restaurant has many food options and reasonable price point.
The breakfast was excellent with many hot and cold food options .
This hotel is a wonderful place to spend a night or a week and we will return.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious! the couple at the front desk were very nice and helpful. we don't speak German and they were both very kind to us w/ our English language shortcomings. The same can be said for the restaurant staff. We appreciated it.
Also - the bike garage was great. and the hotel is perfect for cyclists.

It is a beautiful historic city.
It is a beautiful historic city. The Shoppes are quaint The castle has a very regal view of this well preserved town. It is fun to explore and it has several very accommodating hotels. There is no shortage of good restaurants. Residents are very welcoming and Murchants are attempting to assist however they can. It is a great city to visit Buy car, boat, or bicycle. If there is one negative, it is the limited parking.

I was there for just one (complete) day over the Easter holiday. It is a very nice small German village off the beaten track (i.e. Autobahn), but which is very close by. It is on the confluence of the Rivers Main and Tauber. The old Castle (Burgt) is worthwhile a visit.ArthurHungary - 8.0Scored 8.0

We stayed in Wertheim for only one night during a business trip. It's a very nice town but oozes an atmosphere of geriatrics. We were here outside the tourist season and we really enjoyed the quietness and great restaurant Zum Ochsen. Would not chooses to be here in the main season.ChristianNetherlands - 8.0Scored 8.0
Enjoyed walking in the town and at the castle.
Enjoyed walking in the town and at the castle. Would need more than a few days to explore all the different spots. Grab seat in the platz and get something to eat or drink. Watch out though for there are tours walking around the town, so you could end with a lot of people around you.

Bedrooms were big compared to living room/kitchen part. There are 2 bedrooms but i would stay the apartment is for 2 adults. Nice bathroom. Water and a few coffeecups available which was nice and welcoming. Apartment is few steps from bakery and pizza snackbar (non italian). Wertheim is very nice for 1 or 2 nights stay and see town, the castle. It has a nice outdoors swimmingpool.

We met here and were married on the base. The room was very big, with great facilities. The staff was superb, very helpful, spoke excellent English and went out of their way to may sure we had an early breakfast on the day we had to leave. Highly recommend this hotel if you are coming to Wertheim. Will definitely stay here if and when we return.

We stopped here on the way to our holiday destination and on the way back. And it felt like coming home. They do everything to make you comfortable. I even got a jug of hot water delivered for my tea at 9 at night. Enjoyed the breakfast and good coffee. Our dog was also able to be with us which was great. We will be back!

I stopped by for a 3 day stay and could not be more pleased with my choice to stay at the Wertheimer Stuben, a wonderful hotel with extremely pleasant staff.
