Yseures is a pleasant small village near the river Creuse.
Yseures is a pleasant small village near the river Creuse. There’s a short circuit on foot around the village, along the river and up behind the village of about 30 mins. Apart from the road which passes in front of the hotel it’s calm. There’s a brocante and a museum (not visited). In the area the village of Angles sur L’Anglin is worth a visit.

We had it to ourselves which was even better. The bed was comfortable and the breakfasts which we had in the courtyard were very nice with homemade jams and viennoiseries. Right in the centre of town, but off the main road, with parking just opposite. Beautifully renovated, with an inner courtyard. Staff were very helpful and accommodating, printing out our Passenger Locator Forms for us. If you're not sure about travelling at the moment, do it. Enjoyed a lovely dinner in the courtyard setting outside in the evening followed by a drink in the bar. Charming small character hotel in a small town but very near La Roche Posay which is a larger town. The receptionist (Helene) was friendly and welcoming.
