We had a wonderful overnight stay in Uig. The accommodation was cosy and the view from our room was just beautiful - sitting by the fire overlooking the beach was lovely. The rooms have been well planned out with everything you could possibly need. We only wished we could have stayed longer.

This place was amazing! It was so cool to stay in one of the blackhouse! A living piece of history! They have updated it beautifully and it was so cozy and wonderful. It was just the experience we were looking for on the island!

Wonderful traditional hot breakfast and evening meal served by very friendly staff. Enjoyed sitting outside having a beer in the sunshine after my walk to the old broch ruin nearby. Also has a bus stop opposite the hotel where the hotel staff gave me the times of the morning buses.

We liked the location because it was remote, quite and beautiful, and was central to several thing. It was a short drive from Stornoway, close to some of the sights we wanted to see, and a quick shot to Tarbert for the ferry back. The staff was polite and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent.

    A lovely remote part of the island with spectacular scenery. Not central but one of the most scenic parts of Lewis. Easy access to the North of Lewis and North of Harris but a longer trek for a day trip to South Harris One local grocery shop which we didn't use but plenty of shops when day tripping to the west coast or stornoway
