Cute boutiques, beautiful beach, great swimming, good massage, a nice size town for a stroll, friendly people, lack of touts on the beach - all in all, a really good arrangement of all things you need on a beach holiday.

Agonda is nice idyllic south Goan village with a marvellous beach away from all the madness and the crowds of the north Goa. The area is serene with good number of diverse eateries. There are boating trips, to other local beaches, backwaters. The highlight though is 3-4 KMS Beach: The beach is wonderful throughout the day and night, but best during sunrises and sunsets.
The evening dinners with live music are what travel memories are made of.
Agonda is an experience in itself. been there thrice and would go again in an heartbeat.

The village is very cute and has innumerable shops, cafes and restaurants. We ate very well (all servings are huge and most food is spicy!) There are many hotels; my preference is for the bungalow style hotel that we went to. There are cows ambling around the streets and prices are very moderate. We stayed three days and I found that was about right. It would be worth going for the sunset alone.

Agonda is a great place to relax and destress.
Agonda is a great place to relax and destress. Theres not much to do there so go with the intention of just chilling, swimming and eating well. The sunsets are amazing so stay on the beach to watch the sun go down.

South Agonda is a quiet spot with a beautiful beach and river behind the Main Street which can be used to boat and kayak down. The Main Street gets busier the more south you go. The top end is much quieter and peaceful . The restaurants and bars serve excellent food and very good prices. The tree top cafe is has stunning views and the BBQ on the beach at Tropical Taste's was sublime. There are boat trips to other areas if you want this. Overall South Agonda is a beautiful place I would recommend to all.

To be on the beach and able to sit on my deck in peace and then stroll onto the sand and swim
In the gorgeous clear sea was amazing. The staff were wonderful. The other guests all discreet and friendly but not overly so. It’s India so light fittings etc and all
Pretty basic but fan and air conditioning efficient. Comfortable bed and pillows! Wonderful unspoilt beach .
From the moment we were picked up by the Simrose driver at the airport, to the check in, throughout the stay for 3 nights and the check out and till we were dropped off to the hotel, I’ve never come across such a friendly and professional staff. The location is the best one would expect in Agonda, away from all the noise and crowds in North Goa. Right on the beach and the food was amazing too. They were kind enough to help us with custom food for our 8year old who’s usually pretty finicky about his meals.
well, there is nothing better than having an affordable cabin to yourself w a balcony right on the beach with no other buildings in front of you, where you can linger for hours and watch the sunset. nothing is better than that in Goa. so many of the newer affordable places now are built facing each other in a line heading away from the beach…food was good, service attentive and excellent at all times.
One of the best hotel in Agonda Beach. Reception was very helpful; the bungalows are beautiful (we had 3 - 2 side view and one no sea view. All were perfect. There are lots of restaurants nearby, the beach is in front of the hotel, everything was perfect. Breakfast was super ok. You can choose one from the list (6 types of breakfast- all including one natural fresh and one coffee or tea)
Located IMO one of the best corners of Agonda beach, it is literally the last resort way up! Not a lot of crowd around this part of the beach, its quiet, and very peaceful. The cottages facing the sea are pretty, and rooms are good for the price paid, the bathroom is a botanical fare, staff is really nice and try the Pomegranate Cooler from their menu- its heavenly!
Excellent stay. Got what we asked for. just top rating for the view from the room. We just wanted to have a relaxed vacation with no much sight seeing in mind. Agonda beach villa was bang on for our requirements. Had a relaxing time and the staff was very friendly, special mention Raju, Naveen and Kapil. And thanks for the surprise cake for my daughter's bday.
I absolutely loved the property! The staff was amazing and friendly, the services and facilities were extremely clean. The beach was 10 steps away! The food was so good that we ate at the restaurant on most days. I will be recomending Goa Cottages to everyone and I hope to be back soon.
Really good location right by relaxed Agonda beach. The property is well presented and rooms comfortable and clean. The staff are very friendly and although breakfast wasn’t included they had a very good selection on breakfast options in the restaurant at cheap prices.
The sea side bungalows are perfect, right at the northern part of the beach. Not many people, you almost have the beach for your self. The restaurant served room service quickly directly to the room, which was very nice.
An amazing hotel in the center of Agonda. It is close to the beach and has a private pathway to it. Staff is kind and considerate and rooms are good for the price. This was my second time coming the hotel!
The sea view cottage at Beach Chalets was the best place I've stayed in Agonda. The staff are really polite and the food and bar menu us pretty good too. The breeze is also an added plus during the day.
The location is right at the edge of the beach in a quiet location. The building is beautiful and well maintained. The manager gave me a ride on his scooter when I was running late for my yoga class.
Sea front cottage on the most beautiful beach in Goa - Agonda. Perfect for rest or workation. The staff from Manveer's kitchen deserve many thanks for their helpfulness.
We had the best stay at Saxony Beach Huts. The location, the restaurant, the food and especially the staff was absolutely fantastic! Cannot wait to come back!
The restaurant staff was amazing! Extremely nice and helpful. The place itself is nicely maintained and designed. The location right on the beach is great.
One of best resort I have stayed in my life and I will come back again. It is on the Agonda beach goa and price is also good with compare to other resort
