Tuelada is a small but charming town in the hills above several really wonderful beaches. There are a few good restaurants and a great corner cafe for drinks and snacks, a couple of grocery stores, pharmacy, Bakery and beach shop. Teulada and its surrounding mountains and coastline are as beautiful as any in Europe. The town itself is only slowly awakening to the requirements of the tourist, menus in the ristoranti are fairly basic although the tuna, swordfish, sea bass are fresh and fabulous. There is little difference in the various trattoria but friendliness shines through. The supermarkets hold most of the necessities of life and the takeaway G&T at €2.10 for 250ml is worth going back for. Take care at the filling stations the SELFseerve side of the pumps is 17cents a litre cheaper that the "Assistance" side where someone holds the pump! The matress is super comfortable. Mauro is an excellent host, he's responsive and ready to provide any information on the region and the activities you can have there. He is very helpful with practical issues, he was kind enough to make as a reservation for diner and to provide a document to pay 3 euros instead of 10 for the parking in the beaches of Teulada.
