The scenery was amazing. This ryokan was tucked away at the base of a mountain with flowing streams and snow covered trees surrounding. The inside/outside onsen was the best place to relax. Food was amazing. To be honest, I was not expecting much from an included meal, but the presentation and food quality was amazing. They had a special event for Christmas dinner where they had Santa Clause come in and give everyone a goody bag. The whole experience was great.

The best spot you could stay in all of Hokkaido, traditional beds on the ground and shared bathroom/showers though but super clean. The guy who runs it takashi oda is the nicest guy I've ever stayed with. Always happy to work with you and recommend the best things!
