I love everything about this wonderful special place! Friendly kind people and a peaceful atmosphere, extremely relaxing. Rustic and humble but so so comfy. The owner's pet Prieta is the loveliest sweetest dog ever. The owner is a really nice person and is always available. The New Caribbean Paradise is in a great location close to many of the East coast attractions (Bioluminescent bay, El Yunque, Seven Seas beach, Luquillo kioskos). The development has a resort feel (without the resort fees!) with a clubhouse and three pools available for your use. Views from the property are stunning, looking out over the marina into the Carribbean Sea. The unit is spacious, well furnished, and nicely laid out. Air conditioning worked well throughout except that the bedroom units can be noisy like hotel room A/C's. Our host was very friendly and provided great recommendations for restaurants and sights to visit. We appreciated the personal connection which added to the enjoyment of our stay.

Located in Luquillo, a 2-minute walk from La Pared Beach, The Surfing Turtle features views of the city. With a terrace, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi.

Area had cars driving by every night with music LOUD and motorcycles racing in front of building. All of that is no fault of the facility but was very disruptive trying to watch tv, talk, or sleep. It usually ends about 1:00 a.m.
