I do travel twice a week for the last 16 years all around the world and by far this is the best hotel I ever stayed in. This could not be possible without their great and professional manager "Tomaz Jastrobnik". I had a problem and when reported Tomaz did everything possible to solve it and even more it was solved in a quick way and made sure I have a comfortable stay. The hotel was a beautiful boutique hotel on the lake and we had a lovely view from our room. The breakfast was delicious - hot, cold and fresh fruit and pastries. Managed to get a late checkout until 12.30 too which was really helpful.

Newly opened in April 2009 after extensive renovations, this 4-star hotel, first opened in 1906, is only 200 metres from Lake Bled and in the immediate vicinity of the train station.

The hotel is a lovely building with a breathtaking view of Lake Bled and the surrounding mountains. The staff were very friendly, always greeting us with a smile, and nothing was too much trouble - including accommodating my gluten free diet, phoning a local attraction (Vogel Cable Car) to make sure it was running and ensuring I used the correct stamps as well as mailing my postcards home. Also, arranging a late check out (as our return flight was in the evening) and taxi to the airport. Our comfortable room, including a big bathroom, had a balcony overlooking the lake which was stunning and the hotel's dedication to promoting wellbeing and environmentally friendly practices is admirable. I also enjoyed using the spa / swimming pool, treating myself to a fabulous massage - what's not to like!

I was very pleased with how clean the hotel premises are and how helpful and kind the staff members at Hotel Savica were. I also want to thank Matjaz and Genadjuz for helping me get through to different areas within the hotel such as the swimming pool and spa, and also wanted to thank Matjaz for providing me key information about bus routes to Ljubljana and giving me all the help I need for excursions and holiday plans around Bled, considering that this was my very first time in Slovenia 🇸🇮 I'll definitely come back to Hotel Savica for the amazing people there and the tasty breakfast!
