This town is small and options were limited.

This town is small and options were limited. I had business in a smaller town a few miles away and this was the closest place to stay to accomplish that. The staff was friendly and the room was adequate for a one night stop driving across the country.

Eating @ Creamery is good place to meet and visit with old friends. I lived in Leitchfield for 20 years. Coffee House is a must! Gift shop next door. Farmer’s is a unique restaurant! Long distance biking is a great thing here. Many ride the backroads to Clarkson daily. Got to go to Bible class Wed evening and hug lots of friends.

Did not like the spotty internet and cell phone reception.

Did not like the spotty internet and cell phone reception. We were visiting family there. Traffic was good, not congested. We liked the Storehouse coffee place. Good access to nearby fishing and swimming spots. The fireworks display that happens the week or so after Fourth of July is nice.

For a small town it's beautiful!

For a small town it's beautiful! We liked the clean and orderly Rough River Dam state resort park and lodge, the lakes and less traffic...We didn't like the country roads where there are no (post) lights...too dark at night in so many high and low hills. Grayson Restaurant in the Lodge had an awesome all you can eat tasty fried catfish, fries, hush puppies and coleslaw. Avoid driving late at night from the country roads.
