The view from our windows were amazing. On the door window, we had the view of the lighthouse and the other window, the coast and the ocean. The room was clean and cozy with all the amenities we could ask for. It was perfect for me and my two young girls. We loved walking around the vast property.
The electric fireplace kept the room warm and toasty. The bed was comfortable and there was another cozy blanket available just case. Refrigerator, microwave, wine and glasses, wifi, and even first aide kit!

I loved how close it was to the store. We found a place with Amazing Mexican bread just a walking distance away.

A trip north along the coast road to Fort Bragg, stopping often and including a stop at Point Arena lighthouse with climb to the top well worth it. Pizzas on the wharf, about 5 minutes away well worth the easy drive. Co-op across the road does excellent coffee - proper espresso coffee!!

Not really a town to stay more than one night unless you are visiting friends in the area. The lighthouse is about the only thing to see that is of interest. A little town that tries to hard to be something it is not.

Loved the Wild Flower Motel, the breakfast was brought to our room and it was delicious. We had fun exploring and seeing Bowling Ball Beach. Great places to eat and just walk around. The weather was wonderful. Next time we will definitely go to the beach at sunset.

Not much there except a general store and a couple art galleries. We were blown away by the most amazing pastries from Franny's Cup & Saucer. Bowling Ball beach has really interesting rock formations (go at low tide). The powerful waves around the lighthouse at new moon are really impressive. It can take a while to get there, but make the scenic drive up Highway 1 an enjoyable part of your trip.

This is an amazing little town.
This is an amazing little town. Franny's Cup and Saucer is just perfect. Don't miss the Friday Donut of the week-check out the weekly offering on their Facebook page. Will be trying out the Supper Club later this week. (open Thur-Sat) Sorry to see the nice Market has recently closed. Loved the B Bryan Preserve and the Light House. Will be hiking more of the trails. Just a fabulous gem tucked away.
The Wildflower Boutique motel was a nicely renovated place to stay for the night while we explored Point Arena and surrounding towns. The homemade breakfast delivered to your door is top-notch, we both loved our sandwiches, fruit and cookies. Coffee pods and cream/sugar are available at the front desk, machine is in your room. The weather was so nice the two days we were there, we were able to enjoy the outdoor seating located behind the parking lot. The reverse blinds were also amazing, letting the light in while keeping your privacy.
+ The cleanest place where I‘ve stayed in almost a month roadtrip. (Seriously! It‘s the only hotel we stayed where the floor was cleaned perfectly. And after checkout I saw the cleaning ladys even clean every window inside AND OUTSIDE, lamps, etc which is no matter of course!!)
+ very chique as the colours match and it‘s really nice lavender, bloomy.
+ checkin was flexible as we arrived later than 21:00 and it was super easy with the arrangements.
+ breakfast was super healthy, and obviously prepared with love.
We felt super comfortable at the Wharfs Inn in Point Arena with Karen and Cliff. It is a great, clean, friendly and quiet hotel with a great view from the balcony over the Pacific. Our room was very well appointed and the breakfast menu is great. The service staff are all helpful and nice. We did not eat dinner, we had already done that before check in. We have but on the terrace very good wine served including campfire. Thank you for the wonderful stay with you. We can only recommend the accommodation!
I loved the welcoming nature of the staff at Wildflower. It is evident that the owners care deeply about their business and it shines through in everything they do. The rooms have immaculate attention to detail from the comfortable mattress to the decorations. The breakfast was incredible and delivered to our room exactly at our specified time with a smile. The breakfast sandwich showcased locally owned businesses and again showed just how much the owners care about their hotel and customers.
Loved the people that run this hotel, Dorothy was the receptionist when we got there and was wonderful. Didn't get the Gal in the morning name when we checked out, but she was wonderful also. The view is amazing. Bed was so comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. Very good use of the space. Loved watching the fishing boats coming and goings.
We loved being so close to the ocean and the amazing hiking trails. Hearing the crashing waves at night was a highlight as well as the sounds and flights of all the birds. The gift store had so many nice and thoughtful gifts for sale and the lighthouse tour guide was super fun and informative. Having everything at our doorstep was very cool.
The switch from just a Motel to a sustainable boutique Motel is a success. The rooms are very nice. The materials and ideas they have used are remarkable. For instance, day light in the bathroom. The outside with the flowers was very nice, as well.
Closed by is a Japanese Hotel which was a highlight as well.
The studio was just perfect, with the view of lighthouse. The heated floor was definitely useful. The studio was tastefully decorated and very smartly designed with every space put to good use. Mina the lighthouse cat was a constant fixture during our stay and we loved hanging out with her.
Being out at the lighthouse was amazing. Our room was small but very comfortable. We had the most amazing view of the lighthouse and ocean from our room. The amount of open space around the lighthouse was incredible. It was wonderful being able to walk the area.
We had a great time!! The hotel is very charming and the staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious with an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean. It is a great value for your money. I’m putting it on my list for a return trip!!
Not just a motel - this is an eco-gourmet hotel! Solar panels on the roof, bamboo utensils with yummy breakfast that’s delivered to your door. Each room is named and decorated for a specific flower. Staff is like family.
View of the ocean and wharf from the porch, next to the wharf, beach, coffee shop and Chowder House. Also the hike from the hotel to lighthouse along the headlands is spectacular.
Truly, one of the nicest small motel/hotels I've ever stayed at. Very well done. Neat, tidy, impeccably clean, rooms very well done to every detail. WONDERFUL!
