Things to do in Goiânia

Vaca Brava Park
Goiânia’s skyscrapers rise above the treetops, reflected in the large pond at the centre of Vaca Brava. This popular park is a breath of fresh air in the metropolis, where you can relax on the grass with a book and a picnic, or get your exercise on the jogging paths and fitness area. There’s also a nice playground for the kids.
Buriti Park
Its logical that Brazil’s greenest city should have so many lovely parks – and Buriti is one of the best. With 31 acres of lush forest and three man-made lagoons, this park is a refreshing place to spend the day. In addition to its natural heritage, it houses an art museum, arts centre and a monument to world peace designed by Siron Franco.
Flamboyant Park
This pretty green space is one of the most popular in Goiânia. With two large lakes and grassy fields, this tree-filled park is lovely for a picnic and a stroll. There are jogging and cycling paths, and a children’s playground and wooden bridge for the little ones.

the only interesting thing in Goiânia is the cultural centre which architectually is quite unique, but the place was dead / closed. People were lovely but won't be back in a hurry!

Very good
I am a repeat visitor. I went to Goiania to visit relatives. It is a very nice city with limited entertainment for the family but does have a lot of places to eat. Not one of the friendliest places to be in after midnight.
