Things to Do in Edmonton

West Edmonton Mall
Inspired by the traditional urban bazaars of Persia, West Edmonton Mall is a true shopper's paradise. The 500,000 square metre entertainment facility features more than 800 stores, 100 dining venues and a range of world-class attractions, including an indoor amusement park, waterpark, IMAX theatre, miniature golf courses and two hotels.
Fort Edmonton Park
Nestled on 160 acres of wooded parkland along Edmonton's river valley, Fort Edmonton Park is one of the city's premier attractions and the largest living history museum in Canada. The award-winning park is named after the first European fort in the region, and includes both original and rebuilt historic structures. Divided into different historic eras, the park is staffed during the summer by costumed guides.
Alberta Legislature Building
Known locally as 'The Ledge', this grand building is the meeting place of Alberta's Legislative Assembly and the Executive Council. Located on the site of a 19th-century trading post, the Legislature Building is open to visitors 362 days a year. Discover Alberta's vibrant parliamentary history and culture by exploring the grounds yourself or taking a free guided tour.

Very Good
There's great access to shopping. You have multiple pods of the city where everything you need is in one place. South Edmonton common is perfect, it has tons of stores, a plethora or restaurants and IKEA!
