Exceptional
The shops are very nice and the people staffing them are very friendly. I was disappointed that Barbara's Boutiquie was closed for a few days due to water damage. The seawall is very beautiful and the walking is easy as it is flat there.

Just a lovely place with an interesting history..The Shack on the end of the pier for super food, especially seafood was superb ....also perfectly located for drive to Buchart Gardens and then exploring Vancouver Island.

Was great to be so close to airport. Basically only went there to sleep. Didn't have time to tour or shop.We were disappointed in food at restaurant we went to for dinner.

Fantastic convenient and scenic base for a short visit to the island. Friendly and safe apparently. Interesting how old stoned fellows just smoke pot on the street. The people are all so nice.

small boutiques small local restaurants the usual fast food retaurants close proximity to airport close proximity to Victoria

Great little Thai restaurant on Beacon Ave. called Sabhai Thai. Apparently people from all over drive to eat there.

The water front, and all the little shops. Felt really relaxing to just walk and talk to the friendly people.

small easy to get around, in car you miss small things

Crab cakes and clam chowder on the wharf
