Very Good
Great beach, ideal for surfers. Nice walk along the seafront promenade and up the headland to the east. Zarauz is the home of a famous celebrity chef, Karlos Arguinano, whose restaurant is on the sea front. Another good restaurant is Kirkilla Jatextxea but there are plenty of others.

Pretty and very friendly town on a gorgeous coastline. Lots of bars offering a good selection of Tapas. Excellent value for money too. Parking underground just a couple of minutes walk from the historic square. Will be returning again soon.

A very attractive town offering a lovely beach location and a busy town which was very active with lively bars and restaurants. Every thing was well maintained, very clean and easy to get around.

Although only a few miles from San Sebastian, it makes a great stop over if you are travelling from France to Spain and the hotels are half the price.

The walk to Getaria is stunning - only 4km along a promenade - you might have to dodge a few waves depending on tide. We walked it on the evening, had dinner in Getaria and caught the bus back.

The beach is long and sandy although the sea can be dangerous for young children when the surf is up. I also has a long promanade for an evening stroll

Wonderful beach with slightly golden sand
