Very Good
The bridge was great and would have spent more time there visiting the various museums but time didn't allow us to. I certainly would not stay at the Tontine unless they spend a bit of money tarting it up and perhaps sorting their kitchen out.

10 museums, one ticket. Lasts a year. Cheap. Great walks, motoring, wildlife, villages.... and so it goes on. The birth of the industrial revolution is here. So is the fabulous 1779 Iron Bridge.

Would recommend the annual museum pass, good value. Blist Hill Museum was really enjoyable. Lovely setting and good shops with plenty of parking. Lively evening entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights at Malthouse.

The town restaurants and cafes close very early 4pm could only find one bar and the chip shop open and this was the middle of June, the only reason to stay here would be to visit the Iron Bridge museums and Blist Town village

Very Good
Lots of museums readily available to visit regarding the unique and interesting history of this town. We particularly enjoyed the newly refurbished Museum of Iron and the Victorian town at Blist's Hill.

Recommended in Ironbridge

We used the bus rather than the car to go between the museums as recommended by the B&B owner. It was much easier and very reasonable.

Pick up the wad of leaflets about the many walks and follow what the leaflets say. They are up-to-date and pretty accurate.

The heritage of this place is touching and its preserved very well in modern times. A gem of a town !

D'arcy's is a must for Mediterranean cuisine for an affordable price.

The Gorge and River Severn including the bridge, of course.

Cradle of the industrial revolution

yes, quite environment and nature

Great scenery and lovely walks
