Lovely and very interesting area. Lots to see.Very easy to walk between the museums most of the time along pretty paths although may not be suitable for people unable to walk long distances .Ate at Darbys 1777.Very clean and good food. The Ironbridge itself was my favourite site.

Very Good
Ironbridge is very pretty with the river running through, steeped in history and it has lovely quirky shops. Couple of nice restaurants and pubs. Ideal for a short stay only. A little hilly so not great for the less mobile

Exceptional
Museums were excellent, need a car if you want to do them all e.g. Victorian town and Coalport. Excellent breakfasts in the village. Booked on Sunday morning and arrived in the afternoon.

Recommended in Ironbridge

We used the bus rather than the car to go between the museums as recommended by the B&B owner. It was much easier and very reasonable.

Pick up the wad of leaflets about the many walks and follow what the leaflets say. They are up-to-date and pretty accurate.

The heritage of this place is touching and its preserved very well in modern times. A gem of a town !

D'arcy's is a must for Mediterranean cuisine for an affordable price.

The Gorge and River Severn including the bridge, of course.

Cradle of the industrial revolution

yes, quite environment and nature

Great scenery and lovely walks
