Caergwrle Castle
The castle was built on a hill above the river in c.1277 by Welsh allied to the English . It was destroyed by fire in 1283 and abandoned before completion. Now in ruins but part of the tower and curtain wall still stand.

Very Good
Wrexham seems to have something for everybody and makes a good base to explore around North Wales, Chester and the Cheshire Oaks Shopping and Leisure areas

Didn't see much of it but it was ok for shopping and eating out, had a very nice curry and steak on the evenings.

We didn't go out on the evening as had two small children in tow but there seemed to be plenty of bars and clubs to choose from.

not sure yet, but there are a lot of interesting buildings of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. College of Art etc.
