Things to do in Haifa

Baha'i Gardens and Golden Dome
Climbing up the slope of Mount Carmel, this geometric complex of gardens surrounds the Golden Dome, the resting place of the Prophet-Herald of the Bahá’í Faith. Each of the nine terraces is immaculately groomed, with gravelled paths alongside flower beds and hedges. As you stroll the gardens, the city and the Mediterranean sparkle below you.
Louis Promenade
Stroll along tree-lined Louis Promenade for sweeping views across Haifa. The bay sparkles below you, pink bougainvillaea dotting the path. There are benches for relaxing and playgrounds for the kids. You'll also get views over the romantic Bahá'í Gardens, which is adjacent to the promenade and makes for a lovely stop after your walk.
Dado Beach
This pretty sandy strip is fitted out with everything you need for a perfect beach day. There are umbrellas and chairs along the shore, a boardwalk packed with restaurants, pubs and coffee shops, and even free WiFi. The dance arena hosts weekly public dances and there are playgrounds for the little ones. Disabled visitors will find easy access via ramps.

Very good
A lot to see in Haifa, and public transportation is great, but also a great base for exploring the region, eg we took day trips to Akko and Tzfat. Try Sangria tapas bar at 4 Moshe Aharon in the Port Area. Note that the Carmelit funicular is currently closed due to a fire.

We found what we wanted to see. we had dinner in a Lebanese restaurant which was excellent. We got around town without difficulty walking or by bus. Next time I'm in Israel I shall stay a little longer in Haifa.

Haifa is a beautiful city, lots to do. I stayed mostly in the Germany Colony area and the food there was great. Lots of music coming from all the near bars. And has an amazing view.

Exceptional
The location on the ocean was great and Haifa is a more relaxed place than Tel Aviv or Jerusalem (and cheaper). Traffic is better too.
