Very Good
Nice place. Always changing with newer building and nicer streets and getting better. The beaches covered with algies is enoying..This needs to be cleaned and fixed..

Great area, but getting a little too busy for me. Upside is you have so many great choices for food. We rented a car and traveled to Tulum, Akumal, and Chichen Itza and had great time overall.

The airport service and cab driver was great. Drove directly to hotel and didn't leave. So I really do not have much input on it.

Beautiful beaches. Highly recommend Edventours tour of cenote's and zip lines! Be prepared to be hassled by locals selling their wares and tours if you visit 5th avenue.

Recommended in Playa del Carmen

There's a good selection of restaurants which are mostly comprised of Mexican, Italian and Seafood. There are lots of other options as well, and at different price points, so there seems to be something for everyone. I love that a lot of the restaurants are on 5th avenue, which makes for great people watching.

All the shops are concentrated on the long pedestrian street of 5th avenue, which makes it very pleasant to stroll and check things out.

nice many blocks walking mall with a variety of restaurants and shops / prices however designed for the higher US dollar

Walking through 5th avenue, drink and listen to music next to the beach, great massage

Nightlife starts late, so take a nap after spending a day at the beach.

El Oasis Mariscos (Playa del Carmen) - 50 Avenida Sur / Calle 12 Nte

The Mexican people are so friendly, funny and helpful

Xcaret and ancient mayan ruins
