Things to do in Batu Ferringhi

Batu Ferringhi Beach
Powdered-sugar sand meets turquoise sea on this picture-perfect beach. Only a 15-minute drive from Georgetown, Batu Ferringhi is the place to be for a day by the sea. Spend the day swimming and sunbathing, or stay active with some water sports. You can hire kayaks, banana boats and jetskis, or try parasailing and windsurfing over the waves.
Batu Ferringhi Night Market
It’s best to do your shopping in Batu Ferringhi after the sun goes down, when the lively night market starts selling its wares. Stalls offer anything from mock designer handbags to handmade crafts and artwork. Whatever treasure you’re after, be prepared to bargain for the best price – it’s a good idea to compare between stands.

The water sport is good but make sure you ask for discount! I'll recommend you to ask for 70% off the original price as they're really making it superrrrr expensive! The beach is not that clean I'll just recommend you to play the water sport but not swimming in the sea.

Head to George Town for the really good local food. Night market shopping? Never settled for the first price- been advised by some locals 30 to 40% off is quite common. Getting around is easy.

As a beach it is not great compared to beaches on east coast. It is a bit dirty water not clear and can have strong currents. Restaurants in area good with long beach food market, bora bora beach bar and Andrews kampong all good but that's about it.
