The breakfast was the cheapest we've ever had (about 6 euros and kids only about 4 euros) and consisted of warm croissants, pains aux chocolat etc. with great coffee, yoghurt, jams, fruit etc. Amazingly good deal !!!”

“From my former big-chain budget-hotel experiences I decided to stay at this hotel just because of the price and because it was a good spot to stay overnight on my bicycle tour. But after getting there and meeting the very friendly staff I really have to recommend this hotel. It is in the very South of Valence and a bit offside. But with a car you should be able to get to the city center quickly. The room was clean, the breakfast was good. I'd recommend this place to travelling people, who need a place to stay overnight and to people who wnat to visit Valence for a whole day and have a car (there is a big parking lot at the hotel)”

“The staff were brilliant. My phone didn't work in France and I needed to phone home to tell them I was alright. They leant me their hotel phone, knowing that I was phoning England. Via Sat Nav/GPS it was really easy to find the hotel and park up, bearing in mind that this was the first time I'd driving a left hand drive car and gone on holiday by myself for the first time. The room was clean and tidy and I was able to nip out for a fag at one o'clock in the morning!”

“We cannot fault this hotel- we have for many years stayed in "budget" accommodations for on one night stopovers close to a motorway throughout France and this is by far the best we have ever visited. 1)The room, and hotel in general, was scrupulously clean. 2) The bedroom -there was plenty of space for 3 of us, the beds were very comfortable, and the sheets of very good quality. 3) There was also plenty of space in the shower/bathroom, in contrast to the cramped ones in other hotels where we have stayed. 4) The wifi worked instantly, both on arrival and next morning, we did not have to make repeated visits to reception to get it going. 5) There was someone at reception. So even for a late night arrival we had no problems getting into the hotel or the room. ( we have often had problems with entry codes that do not work, and no-one onsite to help, etc). 6) the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. 7) A coffee/drinks machine was available for times when the café/restaurant is shut- this is not always the case. 8) Secure parking, and plenty of space. 9) Extremely easy to find from the motorway, and considering its closeness, the hotel was also very quiet. Next time we pass through Valence we will not look for any other hotel, we will book this one straight away.”
