“This was by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in and I strongly believe it should serve as a model for any other hotel in the whole wide world! First of all, the location is perfect because you are near the stunning Ionian sea and ancient historic places like ancient Olympia. Second of all, the hotel leaves nothing more to wish for: It is beautifully decorated and modern, very clean and green (lot of plants), a homemade breakfast with fresh fruits from the garden and a huge variety of food. Last but not least, the owners are superfriendly, helpful and welcome you with open arms which makes it very difficult to leave! I highly recommend you a stay in this jewel of Greek hospitality, and you will have a holiday to remember!”

“The villa is located in a village of Zacharo which is somewhat off beaten track and has a fantastic advantage of crowd-free beaches. Yet it has all the amenities including rustic, welcoming tavernas offering excellent food and friendly service as well as trendier bars. The villa itself is located in a large garden with lots of fruit trees and the extensive lawns which would make Oxford colleges proud. It is very comfortable with good size rooms, lots of terrace space for outdoor living, has a very well equipped kitchen, is bright, new and is cleaned every three days to perfection. The biggest asset are the owners who welcomed us as an extended family. They occupy the ground floor of the villa (the first floor is for guests) and are there to help without being intrusive. Every day we got oranges from the garden for breakfast, got figs and tomatoes from their other orchard and were treated to a Greek dinner and home-made wine. Our kids were welcome to run around and play and the place is perfectly secure. The villa is in 10 minute walking distance from the beach (very child-friendly) and if you are interested in history, there is a lot to see in the vicinity including ancient Olympia. This was a fantastic place to stay and we highly recommend it.”
