“This hostel is a home away from home! It's cute clean and welcoming. The rooms are clean and spacious, they offer soap, towels and pillows that still have life left in them! It has a kitchen and fridge to make your own food and we even got a free typico breakfast the morning before our big hike. This is just a description of the place itself. The owner/manager of the hostel is another story. She's fabulous! SO accommodating. May have an issue with the staff not speaking English but don't let this deter you. They call her at anytime so she can arrange whatever you need. We booked our hike through her, stored our luggage for the day and were given a ride to the airport all the way to Guatemala city! We had a lost phone on the ride back from the hike and she was incredibly helpful in tracking it down for us. From the time we arrived until we were dropped at the airport we felt well cared for and had the best sleep/hospitality of the entire trip. The only thing I would reccomend is using ear plugs when you sleep as it can be a bit echoed in the room but that should be a no Brainer when staying in hostels anyway. Unfortunetely now our hostel standards have gone up too much! The owner described this as a place that she wants to be described as a hotel but maintain the quaint home feeling with the low costs!”

“While staying at this hotel I felt like home. The place is very comfy, Olga the owner and her mother are the kindest people, and very helpful.
