The breakfast is in the caffeteria on the corner where you can have a coffee and croissant in the morning before you start your day. It is a short walk from the train station and an old town, also to the main shopping street and many restaurants around.”

To make sure we made our reservation at La Tana di Polpo in the old town, Pia gave us a ride in her car! The map of Matera she lent us made all the difference for us when we arrived there. The fact the B&B is located about 300 yards from the train station made it easy for us to make day trips to Alberobello and Matera. Thank you so much Pia for making our stay in Bari a wonderful experience. We will definitely stay at the Residenza Piazza Moro in the future.”

I was really nervous when I read all the negative reviews, but I'm baffled as to what those travelers expected. Admiral house provides an authentic traveling experience: this is a typical Bari "vicinato" with a street icon, people having dinner in a yard, women washing the pavements in the morning and making orecchiette in the afternoon.
