Great for people travelling with a car (who aren't afraid to travel a few kms of winding, narrow roads) as the view is breathtaking and the staff are more than wonderful. We had staff drive us down the road to the train station and pick us up, always with a smile. Having a few drinks on the balcony is a great way to start the evening. We will definitely return.”

“To arrive at the bed and breakfast is a wonderful advenuture in itself. You arrive at Lake Como - take the funicolare up the mountain and walk 20 minutes in solitude and beauty. ( as it could be too much if you are not a hiker or have luggage - she will come to pick you up ) On arrival, you feel that you have arrived in the house of a friend - the owner Paola greets you with a warm smile a few laughs all the information needed- and your vacation at Brunate begins. Great restaurants walking distance and her breakfast has everything to be desired. We wanted to stay another nite but she was full. We will return soon to this paradise above Como.”

“very friendly and sympathetic staff/people; they offer snacks in the evening; great view over lago di Como; beautiful old house with lovely rooms; we could park our car in front of the house and then took the funicular to Como which runs in summer until midnight (and then e.g. a boat's trip from Como to Bellagio).Maybe one would criticise there's no air-conditioning in the rooms, but as the town overlooks Como, some 500 metres below, just open all the windows and let some air in; we slept very well (even though the days were hot).”

“We loved this place. It's designed by a very talented architect so that you almost feel like you are sleeping outdoors in the forest. It's a really beautiful space. It's about ten minutes walk into the village but it's a pretty walk and the views from the village over the lake are stunning. Find the restaurants with balconies over the view! One day clouds were actually floating around us on the balcony. If you don't have a car like we didn't, Make sure to get advice from Luca on how to use your time there. He was incredibly helpful and has a whole folder you can look through for ideas. We spent our time walking in the surrounding hills and woods which have some great treks and taking the very easy and pretty funicular down to the lake for boat rides and a spa day at the casta diva resort (well worth it - heated pool out in the Lake and amazing hotel and Spa area - you can get to it by boat). Highly recommended. Sighhh can't believe I'm now back home!!!!”

“We got spoilt by being given a jar of homemade tomato sauce and spaghetti and the kitchen was generously stocked up with complementary coffee, tea, biscuits, water, juice and spices. The owner gave us also plenty of ideas what to visit. We would have liked to stay longer in this tastefully decorated very spacey flat.”
