“Owner is very helpful and speaks good English. Guesthouse is exceptionally nice, except basic rooms (we have such) here are some nicely decorated rooms too. Breakfast was very tasty. Out of season price we paid was very good and probably reflects heating difficulties. Hot water was nicely hot, not common in Portugal in winter. We will come again.”

The apartment is modern and clean (which is not a general rule in the area). There is a gas water heater, which means there is always hot water (which is also not the case in many other apartments in the area). There are fully equiped kitchen and a washing machine including all appliances.”

“The apartment is exactly as it appears in the pictures. It's fully refurbished, clean and has all necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. It is located in the middle of Ferrel, 2 km away from the Lagide/Baleal beaches. Both check-in and check-out were flexible. Communication with the host Ricardo was easy and effective, plus he was most friendly and helped us out with some nice recommendations about restaurants and surfing spots. “It is a perfect location - within a short walking distance to the beach. Baleal area is also better in my mind then Peniche, because it has more relaxed seaside feel, with plenty of local dining and shopping options (and still 10 min drive to Peniche town, if you want to check out more restaurants or shop at larger supermarket). Very good value. Excellent hosts - really made everything to make us feel welcomed. There is a nice internal garden area with a grass, swimming pool and BBQs - I don't think that there are many properties in the area that have this kind of luxury - good chill out spot after day of surfing. Owner also helped us out and shipped a piece of clothing free of charge! to UK as we left it behind at the check out.”

“The hostel is located on a quiet new street. On the other way there are several local shops and nice cafes nearby. Inside was very clean and the hosts were nice and helpful. In a walking distance a beautiful wild beach, where you can surf or just have a good time. The thing I liked very much is - the hostel provides a shuttle service to Baleal beach for free. I spent a great time. Thanks!”
