“1/1 The house is located on the outskirts of the National Park – Slovensky Raj in the Ore Mountains, which is only 40 minutes by car from the Poprad airport. The appearance of the surrounding makes me wonder how such a natural gem is not well known across Europe. I'm a big fan of trekking so I was excited when I heard for the first time about a trial along gorges in the Sucha Bela. To get from one end to another it requires a good physical preparation – you have to overcome many obstacles such as torrents, waterfalls and steep rock climbs with horizontal and vertical ladders, rock shelves and steps. The other interesting idea is the Treetop Walk in the Bachleda Valley. A thirty minutes drive from the Jeleni Dom, you will have a chance to take a breath taking panoramic pictures with the majestic forest and mountains in the background. After some trekking it is worth to take some time off and spend it in the Thermal Park Verbov. Broad choice of leisure places and activities including massage jets, seating or swimming pools, massages. Now, after all day in the field is time to sit down and relax at the Jeleni Dom. The calmness and the silence are guaranteed. Now, when the evenings are getting colder, it was important to warm up the place instantly and the fire place does the job. If you need more, the wooden logs awaits you outside free of charge. The entire ground floor is designed as an open plan which gives you a sense of spaciousness and is a perfect spot for an evening entertainment. No exceptions regarding bedrooms – quality mattresses will help in regeneration at night. I can't forget about the external sauna room which is ready to use. There is also an outside terrace with a grill, which is securely based under the roof and might be in use all year long. The whole property is maintained in a very good way what makes it a superb base to visit all the attractions in the neighbourhood.”
