“We had a wonderful, pleasurable and relaxing stay at the Baganara Island Resort! The extra attention given to my sister and me by Stuart, the owner of the resort made us feel very welcomed and at home. I was very impressed that Stuart emailed me the day before to let me know that they were looking forward to our visit. The staff at Baganara were very kind and extremely attentive to us. They ensured that all our needs were satisfactorily met. The service and the food was excellent. The accommodation was quite comfortable. We had a clean and lovely room with a beautiful view of the Essequibo River. There were many outdoor activities to be enjoyed. I would highly recommend this resort and would certainly stay again with other members of my family.”

“This is a GEM of a place in Georgetown. It's located not too far from downtown and the main sights are accessible on foot. It's also close to Durban Park, the Botanical Gardens & Zoo, and you can walk to Regent Street in about 10 minutes. They have rooms to cater to all kinds of travelers. And the people who run the place are wonderful..I really enjoyed getting to know the owners Dennis & Agnes; they really took care of me and treated me like family. Walter is also great; responsive to email queries and a cool guy. People have moved here after staying at other hotels and I'm not surprised. Loved staying here and I highly recommend it!!!”

At one point we wanted to go out to dinner but because it was the night of the parade we were unable to get a taxi and the owner had one of the staff take us and brought us back free of charge. Anytime I'm in Georgetown this is where I'm staying, the location is great and you have access to everything. I would highly recommend this hotel.”
