“Excellent modern resort on the southern edge of Beau Vallon beach. This very walkable beach is at least a mile long and enjoys a good breeze. In the resort there is sleek contemporary design and beautiful decor throughout and personalized service second to none. Our junior suite was spacious, comfortable and well air conditioned. Selection of dishes at breakfast and dinner buffets is not as lavish as at other grand resorts on the island but there are always several solid tasty options, many with local flavor. Pizza can be baked in minutes to your own specifications and freshly brewed French press coffee is standard. The main restaurant has a wonderful, moody atmosphere with live but quiet background music and largely adult couples clientele. The resort owes its charm to that fact that it hasn't been discovered by large budget tour groups yet although these days may be numbered. We felt treated like royalty. Many staff members remembered our last name, schedule and preferences. Six stars rather than five would be more accurate.”
