- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 516 reviewsStaying here was magical! Lying in bed overlooking the Baltic was so relaxing. I took a long walk on the beach and only saw 2 other people the whole time. It was absolutely perfect for relaxing and getting away from the craziness of the big cities. Absolutely worth the several hour drive from Riga. The night sky was one of the top 2 night skies I have ever seen, being able to see every star in the sky and the Milky Way streaking across the heavens. It was an absolute highlight of my Latvia & Estonia trip. Bed was comfortable and the cabin was clean and had cute decor and even some cute battery powered string lights.Guest review byCatherineUnited States
- From $70.36 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 45 reviewsThe place was wonderful, room was clean and tidy, kitchen also clean and had all the necessary stuff. Inside everything is made out of wood, what gives an extra feeling as if you are at home. Outside, in the garden, it is amazingly quiet and peaceful. If you look for tranquility - this is the place. It takes precisely 10 min to drive from Ziedkalni to Melnsils, where the shop is and where the seaside. The host is SUPER kind and always ready to help. I definitely recommend this place!Guest review byEduardsLatvia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 151 reviewsThere are many camping cabins. Each cabin has an outdoor table with chairs and an umbrella at the front. A separate cabin has a kitchen with equipment and a shower with warm water. The size of the cabin is not large, so it would be difficult to stay for a long time. The bed is comfortable and the bedding is beautiful. Additional blankets are available for colder weather.Guest review bySandraGorbunovaLatvia

Kolka is a very sleepy small village, were the only thing to see is the spectacular and scenic Cape Kolka, were the Baltic Sea and the Bay of Riga meet. Well there is a Livonian Community House, but we missed it. It stunning nature is enough for you, Kolka is worth a visit. But if you look for nightlife or action, forget it.Guest review byMaxFinland - 10.0

There is enough to do for at least one afternoon if you enjoy nature and history. There is a castle, a small island, castle park with some old trees. A church. Several pretty ponds. An alley of old linden-trees on Pāces street. We Latvians just love big old trees, Dundaga is certainly a good place to find plenty of those. I took a small hike to the cemetery of old time German barons, a very serene place. The town has several restaurants and supermarkets, so no problems with provisions, and I stayed at a comfortable and good value guest house Jūras sapņi. Actually I wish I had stayed longer and tried more hiking in the area.Guest review byIngaLatvia - 10.0

I loved Kolka - good for seeing cape Kolka, observing birds, especially migratory birds in spring / fall, long walks in protected forest and along seaside, in summer swimming. Has some interesting history, also of minority livi people.Guest review byIngaLatvia
