Situated in a quiet area, the property offered us an incursion in time with the Amadeus (Mozart) room! Everything what pristine clean, hosts were really kind and helpful and we left a little bit sad that we only stayed one night there on our way towards Zurich. We stayed one night at Nussböckgut and really enjoyed the lovely setting — peaceful and quiet, surrounded by vineyards. Our room felt like a little holiday chalet: very modern, beautifully decorated, spotless, and spacious with a large bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we appreciated having air conditioning. There was no kettle, but there was a fridge stocked with a few items which was handy. Breakfast was limited and finished earlier than at other hotels we’ve stayed in, but it was fine for a short stay. The location was convenient too — just a 10-minute walk to the tram stop, which made it easy to get into Linz. A fun extra was the wine vending machine on site, which is quite a novelty. We didn’t use it, but we did buy a couple of bottles directly and the lady kindly offered us tastings before we chose, which was a lovely touch. Overall, a calm and comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings, with a really impressive chalet-style room and some nice little extras.
