What a gem! The staff at the reception were very friendly and made wonderful suggestions for walking into the city. The free code for transportation was very generous although we used it only once, walking was perfection. Breakfast was outstanding.

The Bellevue is a 5 star hotel and it shows! Beautiful, historical, lovely, lush. Staying at the Bellevue was a big treat for us. We enjoyed it very much! Large room, the garden is beautiful and well setup for having a quiet space, the kitchen is set up with everything required, bathroom and toilet were spacious and clean … Evelyn is very easy to communicate with and was very informative when I arrived and in letting me know when the other room on the floor would be occupied…Evelyn was also very helpful on my last night in phoning taxi companies to book for the following morning… I enjoyed my stay here very much. The location was handy for walking to and from the city, and the attractions that I wanted to see … it is close to the river and a lot of scenic places to see and walk around.. Bern is quite hilly so for moving about with luggage, a taxi or bus is suggested …
