When locals ask you where you’re staying and you mention Luganodante, they happily nod affirmatively, reassuring you made the best decision. And they’re right The hotel is right in the city center, everything is within walking distance (this includes the historical city center, the lake, the Cathedral, the funiculars of both Monte Bre and San Salvatore, train and bus station). The staff is probably the best I’ve ever seen, and I travel for business all the time. They’re genuinely kind people who will do everything to help make your stay the best it can be. the breakfast and the restaurant in general is 10 out of 10 Michelin guide recommended - the selection is just everything you can ever wish for. The room was clean, comfortable, regularly maintained. Pick Luganodante, you won’t be disappointed.

Hotel International Au Lac is a special property. The staff made my stay memorable. The front desk staff furnished quick check in, Ticino card, and hotel information. The cleaning staff provided thorough room service. The breakfast waiter and hotel chef gave a great start to every morning. The hotel is well located near public transport, retail, and restaurants.

This family-owned hotel is centrally located just a short walk from Lugano town center and its breathtaking lakeshore, and the famous Piazza Riforma with its many sidewalk cafés.

Location: near a train station; A few minutes walk from the city center. We received a ticket for free travel on public transport in the entire Ticino region. A rich breakfast. It is possible to purchase additional meals as well, a menu appears clearly in advance, at the beginning of each day. The staff at the hotel provides an answer to any question about transportation and itineraries.
