This was an adorable hotel. The room was suprisingly quiet considering the location on one of the busiest party streets in Getsemani. I could easily walk to any number of great restaurants. The gracious hosts also provided me with drinking water. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.

I only share reviews when they are above excellence. Hotel Canabal met & exceeded our expectations in every aspect of a 5 star hotel. The staff was amazing, professional, kind. Location was great. Breakfast was delicious! And Alfonzo, the dining room manager provided us with amazing hospitality and customer service. Also special thanks to Brenda at Concierge, their bartender anc Irina in housekeeping. we will definitely stay w/ them again when we return to Cartagena.

The staff were wondeful and super friendly! Breakfast on the terrace was breathtaking and the room was well equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location of the hotel was perfect, close enough to downtown for everything to be within walking distance, but also located in a more relaxed neighborhood where things are calmer (even though the streets are still lively at night). I would definitely stay here again!
