It was on a nice quiet street for sleeping. We were in a car parking was also nearby. Walking around was easy you are at the top of the hill. So walking to most things are up and down hill :) But great location.

Hotel Savoy is an elegant and cosy establishment with an old-world touch. It is located in a beautiful, historical district, right next to the monastery and other splendid sights. Having spent almost a week in Prague, our well-furnished and newly renovated rooms represented home away from home. Our stay was particularly agreeable due to the professionalism and overly attentive attitude of the hotel staff, our well-heated rooms, and the sumptuous breakfasts in the morning. Added to these, the hotel's lounge, dotted with chess tables and housing an imposing multi-language library, enabled us to travel back into Czechia's magical past vividly recounted by Hrabal. We can't wait to return to the luxurious yet extremely affordable Hotel Savoy! Even though the hotel is a bit out of the hustle and bustle of Prague's center (and this is something we were looking forward to having), it is accessible by tram (the stop is right across the hotel). If arriving by car, one can easily find paid parking near the hotel (free from the evening hours until the morning) or keep the car in a (slightly pricey) garage belonging to the establishment. Restaurant of all price ranges (including local breweries serving hearty Czech dishes) are in a walking distance.
