Brilliant location in the heart of the medieval city, just as was imagined for our stay. The selection of wine to purchase in the bar fridge was a nice touch. The property was air conditioned which was great with the summer heat. The owner was responsive and helpful.

The location inside Carcassonne citadel is excellent. One one side one gets the medieval atmosphere, and also on is well protected from possible late night disturbances, as the sleeping room is doubly protected from outside noise by an additional glass wall, and has a specific AC unit. There is also an outside terrace with some view on the medieval stones.

This hotel has the best location in the historical city of Carcassonne. You can easily visit all the highlights nearby by foot. Staying in this hotel is like staying in a museum. Everything is authentic and is in a surprising good shape considering how old the building is. The staff was super friendly. We loved the swimming pool and breakfast.

What an amazing value! We had our own table with the name of the room on it. The room was wonderful with a very comfortable bed. We were 1-2 minutes away from everything within the walls. I would highly recommend this place!

Wonderful, spacious hostel, right in the middle of medieval Carcassonne. Location was absolutely perfect, with restaurants, shops, and the entrance to the ramparts right outside the door. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. My room conveniently had an en-suite sink and shower.

The location was fantastic. We were travelling in January, off season. The old town was empty and it was great to be there with no tourists around. The only restaurant open for dinner (maybe not the only, but it seemed like it, because it was full) was L'Ostal, which was just around the corner and the food and the atmosphere was great.
The apartment looked beautiful, newly renovated and clean. For those who want to be close to the fantastic Château Camtal, this is the place to be!
