We were welcomed by Maréme who was very warm, friendly and helpful. She offered us coffee while we waited for the room. The Haribo sweets are plentiful throughout the reception which is a fun addition. The hotel is very new and modern. Location is good, close to the river and the key sites to explore.

Hotel De France is in the center of Nantes, a 2-minute walk from Theatre Graslin, the Passage Pommeraye and Place Royale.

I have no hesitation in recommending this gorgeous apartment. It’s bright, fresh and modern, well equipped and tastefully decorated. I spent several days exploring Nantes and nearby areas, and it was a pleasure to come “home” to this comfortable and cosy space, which was also very peaceful at night. Bedding, towels, etc, are of good quality and the place is impeccably clean. The location is excellent: an easy walk to the train station (about ten minutes) or to the town centre, but there is also a bus stop within 5 minutes’ walk, giving easy access to the excellent public transport system in Nantes. That bus stop is also right next to a supermarket, so it’s easy to pick up provisions on your way home, and there’s a very nice eco-supermarket, as well as several bakeries, not far away either. Bertrand is a kind and helpful host, and communication was excellent.

The recently renovated Terrasse Royale au Coeur de Nantes provides accommodations with a bar and a shared lounge in the heart of Nantes.

Such a beautiful and spacious apartment. Absolutely loved staying here! Not to mention they have a washer and dryer (which is not really common in France) and very well equipped in general. Can’t recommend this place enough!
