The X Hotel Brunswick Square offers a superb base in the most elegant Grade I listed square in Brighton and Hove, less than a minute's walk from the beach and close to a fine selection of quality... Best possible location: close to the sea and to interesting shops, buses and taxis. At the same time, there was very little exterior noise from traffic. Very charming building, and one of the best showers I have used in England

Perfect location. Close to multiple eating places. However, we used the small groceries stores in order to cook dinner ourselves. Funny thing is that it rained very hard with huge winds the night we were there. So, we cancelled the plan to wake up early to see sunrise over the ocean... I turned the rain stopped early and we missed everything..

Olive Tree Apartment Hove offers accommodation in Brighton & Hove, 1.6 km from The Brighton Centre and 1.6 km from i360 Observation Tower. Communication prior to check-in was timely, professional, and informative, giving us all the information relevant to our stay, such as damage deposit payment instructions and details about anything we might need in relation to parking, WiFi, etc. Whenever we contacted the owners via the platform with queries or requests in the run up to check-in, they were responsive within 24 hours or less. Finding the property and collecting the keys from the lockbox was a breeze, as well as understanding the locking mechanism required to feel safe and secure. Felt at home the moment we stepped in. Property was clean, homely, warm, and very welcoming. Tastefully furnished with a modern bathroom that has buttons on the shower and tap with an open spout (never seen these before!) Everything was found as expected - and more! There were nice welcome gifts, a folder full of handy house rules in case of more questions, and an emergency box of supplies should you need a razor or toothbrush. Couple of hours after checking in mid-afternoon, we received a call from the owner checking that everything was okay and that we could easily reach them during our stay if needed. We were in Brighton for only a couple of nights so didn't really need anything except more time in this lovely apartment! No matter what time it was, the atmosphere in the apartment was cosy, quiet, and private; even while sitting outside on the garden furniture. The neighbourhood at all times of day was pleasant, quiet, and trouble-free. Only takes 15 minutes to leisurely stroll from the apartment to the Brighton city centre, and the beach was just down the road. Couldn't think of a better way to rest and relax after trekking around Brighton! Thank you so much for entrusting us with your apartment and giving us such a pleasant experience! The owners know what they are doing, demonstrate this well, and would make selecting another apartment very difficult. Would rebook Olive Tree again without hesitation!
