it is close to the center. The Family that runs it were very friendly. The mother and daughter were very Nice. I love our little chat. we are also very lucky because they even help and suggested where to go or what is the best way to save money. They even offer their tea and coffee as well as biscuits and chocolate. we will be definitely be back in here.

Wonderful amenities, the pool, sauna and jacuzzi let you end your day in the most relaxed state ever. Staff is so lovely and helpful, feels like one big family who cares about each other and the guests on a personal level. The classic British breakfast with tons of choice and variation was the best possible way to start the day. I have nothing, absolutely nothing bad to say about this hotel. I wish I was back already.

This flat is homey and comfortable. Convincingly located on the first floor. We only had to carry our suitcases up the stairs to front door of the building. We loved the location of Portobello Beach only minutes away. There are wonderful coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The buses into Edinburgh are easy to catch from down the street. Our host warmly greeted us with a welcome letter and snacks/beverages to kick off the beginning of my 50th birthday celebration. We would love to come back and stay here again in the future.

Our room was mind-blowing. Please do yourself a favor and book the Guinness Room at the bow of the ship. The staff were great. We really enjoyed getting to know Alfonso, Rachel, Tony, and Will.

The hotel's standout feature was undoubtedly its delicious home-cooked breakfast. With a choice of 8 or 9 options, there was something to suit every palate, and the food quality was exceptional. I particularly enjoyed the Scottish breakfast, which was a real treat!
