Porto Veneziano Hotel enjoys a privileged location on the waterfront of Chania's Old Venetian harbour. It offers panoramic views and accommodation in a minimal navy design. Everything is thought of. No lapses. Attention to detail. Amazing location. Excellent breakfast, the food overall was very good, the espresso one of the best in Chania. Fruit option for desert, for some reason, unlike many other parts of Greece, in Chania not many restaurant serve fruits, but Porto Veneziano is a nice exception. A real gem.

Not only did he assist us with our luggage, but he also took the time to introduce us to the city, sharing local insights that enriched our visit. Arriving in winter, we faced the challenge of finding day trips to the beach, a task that seemed nearly impossible. Yet, Spiros demonstrated exceptional dedication by reaching out to numerous contacts early in the morning, exploring every possible avenue to accommodate our wishes. His perseverance was a testament to his commitment to ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect. What we will remember most fondly, however, is Spiros' genuine kindness. His smile, sweet and inviting, reflected the hospitality for which Greece is renowned, making us feel not just guests, but valued friends. Spiros' efforts deeply enhanced our experience, and for that, we are profoundly grateful. This was my favorite hotel that we stayed at in Crete. it is a small hotel, which makes it feel even more special. There is a cafe/bar on the main floor. Our room had a balcony overlooking the bustling city and harbor with enough room to sit outside. We also had access to go up to the roof deck. The staff and owner were all lovely. The breakfast was delicious and even had some vegan! We got a discount at the bar as well and the drinks were excellent.
