Great location inside the castle walls and close to hundreds of cafes and eating places. Easy walking distance to town and the lake. Staff were exceptional..always cheerful and willing to help. Changed breakfast when they realised we weren't eating the bread and sweet foods and provided fresh fruit, yoghurt salad and eggs instead. Highly recommend Hotel Kastro.

The location is simply unbeatable. A short 5-minute walk from the center of town, it made exploring the area a breeze. The bed was really big and comfy, and the pillows were amazing. It had a TV with Netflix in both rooms and a capsule coffee machine. The best part was the windows, the apartment was quite picturesque, and the windows, while being aluminum or pvc had a faux wood color and appearance, which completed the picture. Very comfortable, within walking distance to pretty much all the main attractions and restaurants/bars within the city center and near the lake. Last but not least, the decorations was very well done!

Kamares was a lucky find for us. We had a car and getting to Kamares and parking was really easy. It is an old "arhondiko spiti" which was wonderful. The art and artifacts around the hotel were marvelous and gave you a sense of the what the house once was. The staff were super friendly and helpful the breakfast plentiful and the stroll into town mesmerising. Highly recommend choosing Kamares and will certainly come again!!
