Basically everything is great. Very new, clean and high tech hotel. Great rooms, very nice spa, exquisite restaurant. In my humble opinion, currently THE best hotel in Zagreb.

I stayed in the Swanky Royal, which is a couple of houses down from the main Swanky hostel, where the reception is. The room was freshly renovated, nice and clean. The windows were towards the courtyard so it was quiet even though the building is located at a busy street. The location was great, right in the center, within walking distance to all attractions. Breakfast was amazing (besides the regular musli/eggs breakfast you can try Asian inspired dishes)- there was more food than you can eat. The only minus- the restaurant is located by the main building, so you need to dress up and walk outside. And it was good value.

This way of service without reception is awesome, the apartment was clean and we had everything we needed. The location was perfect for us. Don't let the exterior appearance and the front door confuse you and create the wrong image, because it's about the Austro-Hungarian style, which we personally like. We highly recommend it.
