This was my first time at a hostel, but it was INCREDIBLE. Very new, great decor, the room was huge, but somehow you didn't even feel there was anyone else there. The lobby/bar was beautiful and great to work from. Would definitely stay here again.

The apartment has a good heating system and is right across the street from a fish restaurant and one of the best bakeries in Reykjavik (try their cinnamon rolls). The beds are comfortable, the apartment spotless, and it comes with a bathtub. All in all, this place is pretty good value for money by Icelandic standards. 5 minutes walk to the famous church which is also where most day tours in Reykjavik depart from.

Skolo Reykjavik Apartments offers rooms in Reykjavík near Reykjavik Art Museum: Kjarvalsstadir and Laugavegur Shopping Street.

The room was large enough, facilities are new and location is very good. Much better than any other hotels I stayed in Iceland. Will choose this hotel again for my next trip.
