we liked EVERYTHING. It is an incredible place, one of the best hotel in his category (and e do travel a lot). The location is breathless......a very old little village on the top of a hill...the real essence of a middle age italian village. It was inhabitated until 50/60 years ago...then bought and renovated, ALL the village!!! renovated in a incredible conservative way, perfection. The felling is to be in a film about middle age. The view, terrific, to walk around this village/castle/hotel bring you to discover great little corners....the rooms are not rooms: are all apartments, some big some huge. The level of detail they pay attention to is embarassing. The robes for the shower swimming pool the furnitures, the details in the apt were all very very high quality. The breakfast was a full 5 star, with fresh product, variety and abundant. The swimming pool is great, the garden area, great...everything is great. The staff amazing, Luca at reception and Giacomo in the restaurant hall were great. I cannot talk good enought about this place

This place was peaceful, relaxing, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Even the cats seemed happy to see us. It was so quiet at night and quite comfortable. The manager was very warm and accommodating and willing to answer our questions. The breakfast in the morning was very good, the facilities were clean, the bed was very comfortable. The view was outstanding. We were there in early May, so it was a bit too chilly for the infinity pool, but it looked very inviting.

An historic, well-cared for building on beautiful grounds. The onsite restaurant was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful at every step. A great place for a leisurely, quiet stay in a peaceful setting.
