Our room was perfectly clean and very comfortable, perfect for a few nights in Kyoto. The hotel was very beautiful, in traditional style and provided nice services like a bath that you can reserve, a common area with tea offered, and a nice breakfast area. In addition, the hotel organizes various activities of which we tried the Sake brewery tour which was a great experience!

Everything about this hotel was a dream. Luxurious, calming oasis of comfort and peace in the city. Perfectly located to get around with ease, and with staff that couln't have been more helpful and friendly. You arrive to a complimentary matcha and the entrance alone is like stepping into a soothing spa. The incense and the beautiful fountain and rock gardens under a latticed roof really transitions you out of the hot busy city into a cocoon. Our room was generously sized with attention to detail in every design choice. I could have stayed here forever and will definitely be back. Book it, you won't regret it.
